Type. Surf Boards of fibre reinforced plastic or equivalent type. 2. Use. Surf Boards will facilitate persons across a water canal of up to 100 m width. 3. Design Features. (a) Light in weight not exceeding 8 kg/per sufboards. (b) Dimensions (i) Length - Not more than 1.8 m. (ii) Breadth - Not more than 70 cm. (iii) Width - Not more than 10 cm. (c) Buoyancy - more thank 200 kg. (d) Should be stable inflowing water of current up to 2 knots. It should remain stable when the person riding the surfboards moves. (f) Carriage. Should be rugged and with stand carriage in a vehicle. It should be capable of being carried slung over shoulder using suitable straps in a sideways fashion. 4. Material.
