METALLURGICAL COKE 35000 MT TO 40,000 MT (+/- 10%) Bid Bond You will be supplying METALLURGICAL COKE. If you are interested we will buy the tender documents on your name from the client, Pakistan Steel (www.paksteel.com.pk). When we submit the bid it will be on your letter head and we will be submitting as your local agent for this tender. With this tender you will send bid bond (Bank Guarantee) in name of the client which is 2% of the total C&F Value because it is foreign purchase and only foreign manufacturers or principals are allowed to participate. This bid bond is refundable in either case whether we win or lose. It is a sort of guarantee that if you win then you cannot back out. As you know it is a sort of precaution to avoid the fake bids. This bid bond on legal paper will be issued by any foreign bank operating in Pakistan in the name of Pakistan Steel (www.paksteel.com.pk), which is a governmental organization, and known in the whole world in gas distribution sector. The bid bond can be issued by any foreign or Pakistani banks under your instructions but it should be issued from within Pakistan. You can check on its website (www.paksteel.com.pk) The foreign bank will instruct its branch or liaison branch to issue bid bond for the stipulated time of validity of your quotation.
